Our "Helper"

My summer bible study this week has been centered around our "Helper", the Holy Spirit. It has been a gentle, but firm reminder that the Holy Spirit indwells each believer and is a constant "Helper". Two questions come to mind: 1) Do others see the reflection of the "Helper" in me? and 2) Do I reach out to my "Helper" for direction in every thing that I do? How much peace are we missing by not allowing the Holy Spirit to be an active part of the Trinity in our lives? Satan sirs us up daily and we forget to claim the power of the Holy Spirit over his attack! We make decisions continually and never ask the Holy Spirit for any kind of guidance whatsoever. How much easier might this faithwalk be if we were "in touch" with our "Helper". How many blessings might we partake of if we simply allowed the Holy Spirit to free us from Satan's strongholds and empower us as He is called to do. Today is a great day to begin claiming the power of the "Helper" in your life and mine! Let's do it!
